Home > Community Posts > Hi ladies, hoping you can share some stories of your own and some encouragement. I’m 31, had my first cycle in November which ended with in a failed transfer, a heartbreak I was never mentally prepared for. No issues up until egg retrieval and then OHSS with blood clot risk. But we were able to go ahead with the transfer. Not due our next consultation until Jan and the anxiety is overwhelming. TTC and getting my body ‘IVF ready’ is consuming me; food diet, no alcohol or caffeine, counselling, light exercise daily, yoga, meditation, acupuncture, online research, podcasts. I’m finding it hard to feel myself again. Christmas is round the corner and I’m dreading spending time with family. My sister in law recently announce their pregnancy and don’t feel like I’m ready to enjoy this with them. How do you manage to cope with the anxiety? Open to any suggestions at this point. Also if anyone lives in the midlands area I would love to meet up. Fine speaking to other women in a similar situations really helpful and relives some of that isolation. Xx
