About the IVF Network

What is The IVF Network?

The IVF Network is a caring online membership community for individuals navigating fertility challenges. We offer a safe and inclusive space to connect with others who are exploring the fertility health and family-forming ‘journey’.

Ask questions and gain unlimited access to the latest guidance on fertility topics from the UK’s top private doctors, gynaecologists, fertility acupuncturists, nutritionists and male fertility specialists.

For corporate businesses, we also offer fertility policies and bespoke workshops for their employees and managers to focus on practical fertility support and guidance, both in and out of the workplace.
We’re here to help you through every step of your journey.

Why do we exist?

The mission of The IVF Network is to increase patient and partner knowledge, offering greater access to specialists across the field who they might not be able to speak to under normal circumstances. Ultimately we look to support them in achieving their end goal quicker, saving time and money.

We have also built and will continue to grow a community of both patients and complementary therapy practitioners aimed at supporting and empowering our members every step of the way.

Is The IVF Network free to use?

The Free membership offers individuals the opportunity to connect with others on their fertility journey. Members can share their story, ask questions and partake in conversations. IVF and fertility articles and blog posts are also available to view. Snippets of our content, such as Broadcasts, are available to preview. The Premium membership offers individuals extended benefits, with exclusive access to The Safe Space, Talk to the Expert sessions, and discounts with leading fertility brands.

What is a Free membership?

The Free membership offers individuals the opportunity to connect with others on their fertility journey. Members can share their story, ask questions and partake in conversations. How much does it cost to become a Premium member?

How can I speak to a clinician or fertility expert?

Premium Members can access clinicians and fertility experts through:

The Safe Space
Once a month via a Zoom call
A safe space where the footage is not recorded and members can have their cameras off or on
A place to gain guidance, knowledge and ask questions
Use the chat area for questions or general comments

Ask The Expert
Has a chat room area available for questions and comments
Members are allowed to ask questions to the experts on covering topics as well as any other topics 
We also encourage members to take the discussion further into the community area
The footage is recorded and can later be accessed via the broadcast and home page

The Corporate membership is for businesses who are looking to support their employees with their fertility needs. The corporate membership offers employees access to:

On-demand Experts: Unlimited access to the latest guidance on fertility topics from the UK’s top doctors, gynaecologists, fertility acupuncturists, nutritionists and male fertility specialists. 

Supportive Community: A safe and confidential space for your employees to connect with people who understand and have been there. 
Bespoke Workshops: Tailored workshops for employees and managers to focus on practical fertility support and guidance, both in and out of the workplace. 

Fertility Policy: Co-design a fertility policy for your organisation with guidelines on how to support employees’ physical and psychological wellbeing and the impacts of fertility.

What is the community?

The IVF Network community is a safe, inclusive space for people to connect and share stories about their IVF and fertility journey. We provide access to resources through our Broadcasts and network of fertility experts. Our community is about:

1. Meaningful connections
Finding connections through shared experiences reminds us we’re not alone. Listen, support, and share to nurture these purposeful connections.

2. Inclusivity
Having a diverse community with varied walks of life and content is celebrated. This helps every individual feel seen, heard, and welcome on the platform. Our community welcomes non-binary identified, cis, and trans women and men. 

3. Goodwill and honesty
The IVF Network aims to foster a trustworthy and safe environment. Help create a safe space by treating each other with kindness and being respectful of others’ opinions and experiences.

4. Respectful conversations
The IVF Network provides a space for sharing experiences throughout the IVF journey, and connecting with others who can relate. As a place where people dare to be vulnerable, please be honest and keep a respectful tone.

How do I create my first post?

By signing up to become a Member (either Free or Premium subscription) you will be able to access the Community page and create your first post. Simply type your question or comment in the section ‘Got a question about your IVF Journey? Ask the community and get some support’ and hit ‘Post’. You can also respond to the latest community posts by hitting ‘Comment’. 

Can I remain anonymous?

Yes, all members can remain anonymous and their personal information will never be shared. In the Profile Settings section you can select your Display Name and update this whenever you like. 

How can I remain safe in the community?

Here are 4 tips to keep in mind in order to feel safe in the community:

1. Do not share anything you’re uncomfortable having others see
IVF can be an intimate and sensitive topic. There is never any pressure to share anything you don’t want to. The IVF Network is a place to connect and share what you feel comfortable with sharing.  

2. Do not share personal information
Do not share sensitive information such as:

Address
ID
Social Security number or National Insurance number
Passport or driving license
Bank details
Where your hospital is
Who your doctor is

It is your responsibility to decide what type of details/information you share with the people you connect with.

3. Ask for permission to share pictures of anyone else
If you’re uploading pictures of another person, make sure to ask for and receive permission from them first, regardless if they’re members of The IVF Network or not.

4. Recruitment of members or data
Recruiting members for personal or business use is forbidden without consulting The IVF Network and being given explicit permission from us. We reserve the right to remove any content indicating this type of unsolicited search or recruitment.

Payment & Billing

How can I pay for my Premium membership?

We offer two price plans for Premium membership; monthly subscription and annual subscription. The monthly subscription is £9.99/month and the annual member subscription is £99/year. Simply click the ‘Premium’ or ‘Upgrade’ button or head to your Account settings and click on ‘Profile’ and ‘Billing’. We accept all major credit and debit cards.

What are the cancellation terms?

If you pay for your subscription monthly this can be cancelled at any time via The IVF Network website. Simply head to your Account settings and click on ‘Profile’ and ‘Billing’. If you pay for your subscription annually, this can only be cancelled within the first three days. If you cancel after this time, your subscription will not renew for the following year.

How can I manage my billing and subscription settings?

Simply head to your Account settings and click on ‘Profile’ and ‘Billing’. If you are a Free member you can upgrade to become a Premium member here.
