For this month’s Ask the Expert we are delighted to be joined by Kate Pleace, Fertility and Menopause Specialist Nurse. This session will explore the realities of trying for a baby during the menopause – from the truth about what treatment is available , and how to handle HRT, to dealing with the emotional impact, and how to handle a ‘no’.
About the event
Scientific research suggests that the vaginal microbiome plays a role in fertility including – risk of miscarriage, preterm birth, unexplained infertility and IVF success. This session will explore all things vaginal microbiome – including symptoms of an imbalance (such as recurrent UTIs, infections, and thrush), what causes this, and importantly, what you do about it.
